When Donna and James get the result of the DNA test back, they are both a bit bummed by the results that reveal that the test was inconclusive. James then tells Donna that there is another more accurate test, the only problem is that it costs a whopping $8,000. With both of them wanting confirmation that they are family, Donna vows to get the money in some way or other and so starts pawning some of her belongings. She doesn't, however, manage to make much money and eventually concocts another plan to get her $4,000 share of the money. Problem is, though, that her scheme's nothing short of a bit dubious.

However, as the two men try their best to scoff down the dubious breakfast, the boys have a laugh on their account and explain that they are planning on getting them some better gifts. They then just go and ask generous Susan for some money, but Karl doesn't approve of them just getting a hand-out and insisted they do some gardening before getting money.
Also, Steph found out that Paul gave Lyn some money after finding a letter from her saying she'd gone to visit Oscar on the farm for a while. Steph couldn't, however, help but wonder if her mother would be coming back at all now that she got what she wanted?
