Anita's not eating and Leila's concerned about her sister. She tells Nancy about her worries and the latter tells her to stay behind after class so she can talk to her. Anita insists that there's nothing to worry about but this claim inevitably seems a bit unfounded when Nancy finds the diary that Hannah gave her. Leila and Nancy are not impressed with Hannah's interference and confront her. Hannah explains that she's only trying to help by letting Anita see just how horrible it is to suffer from an eating disorder, but the two of them tell her that she's only making things worse. Genuinely only wanting to help Anita, Hannah feels confused and stops herself from binging just in time.
Meanwhile, it's the day of Tony's veterans day and he honours his great grandfather with the Union Jack, proclaiming to all and sundry how great an Englishman he was. This comes after Cindy actually told Tony that this ancestor he has so much praise for was actually a German during WWI, and she and Dom can understandably only listen to so much of Tony's lying, and so Dom is unable to help himself and eventually reveals the truth. Embarrassed, Tony promptly puts an end to his celebratory veterans day.
