Friday's Emmerdale Preview

Charity seduces Cain

Sally's plan is not working as well as she would have liked, and when she notices that Laurel and Ashley are more in love than ever, she decides to concoct some drama when she makes a distinct comment relating to her past with Ashley. Catching onto her scheming, Laurel immediately reminds Ashley that their anniversary is about them living in the present, not about the past. Sally then decides that her best line of defence will be to ruin Ashley and Laurel's celebrations, and she does this by making them cocktails. She, however, sneakily adds extra vodka into Laurel's cocktail, which she is then forced to down when the taxi is outside waiting for her. Not much later, the pair return, Laurel hopelessly drunk and Ashley obviously irritated. Taking Laurel to bed, he then spends the rest of the evening reminiscing with Sally over the many memories they have shared together.

Meanwhile, Cain returns to find that Charity has volunteered her babysitting services and, using the opportunity to continue her mind games with Cain, she strongly implies that the only thing really standing between them and their happiness is the issue of money. She leans forward and kisses Cain passionately before pulling away and telling him that she has offered him a deposit and that when he proves that he finds her trustworthy, she'll be more than happy to offer him the full jackpot.

Elsewhere, Pollard notices that David has been blue since his rejection from Leyla and approaches Leyla to find out her feelings. When she assures Pollard that she loves David very much and that there is definitely no-one else in her life, he rushes to tell David the good news. David is delighted at the faint glimmer of hope offered to him by his father's news.
