Roy is still obsessing over Tony's confession, adamant that he murdered Liam. So he tells Hayley, that he thinks he should go to the police. She, however, doesn't agree and says it's a bad idea, reminding him that he'll only look mad, like Maria did.

With the boat finally completed, David and Joe are eager to go out on a fishing trip. Joe, however, soon gets the bad news - he's been made redundant from the hardware store. Gail is supportive though, and tells him not to worry, that she'll help him out until he can find some other work.

After some careful consideration, Peter eventually allows George and his wife, Eve to visit Simon. As the visit goes so well, Peter tells George and Eve that they're more than welcome to spend as much time as they like with Simon.
