
Donna and all the other teenagers were quite taken by laid-back, honest James, while Ringo still couldn't help but be wary of this newcomer. He soon realised that his criticism of James was doing some serious damage to Donna's attitude towards him and so decided to compromise with her. Only having his best interest at heart, Ringo tod Donna that he would stop being dubious of James if she asked him to have a DNA test.
Meanwhile, Kate couldn't wait for the deb ball, very excited at the prospect of dancing the night away. Her enthusiasm was, however, seriously dampened when Harry told her that Kyle told him that deb balls are great places to score girls and so he was planning on going. Horrified at the idea and after reasoning with Harry proved futile, Kate visited Kyle and begged him to stop her brother from going to the ball. Kyle then said he would do so, but only if Kate agreed to be his date for the dance.
Also, Declan didn't have a very good attitude as the test for his VCE approaches, claiming that it was just a stupid test and stubbornly refusing to accept anybody's help or to apply for Special Consideration.
