Melissa Suffield plays Lucy

It seems Jay didn't realize it was Lucy he mugged as he stood over her motionless body in the alley. When she came to, he pretended that he just found her there and took her home. Jane and Ian have been babysitting Oscar and Jane had been pushing the adoption idea when Jay helped Lucy in.

Ian was appalled that this has happened to his daughter and immediately wanted to notify the authorities, but Jay and Lucy were both panicked by the idea, though for different reasons. Jay declined the bit of cash Ian offered him out of guilt and accompanied Ian and Lucy to the hospital. The doctor decided to keep Lucy overnight for observation, and Jay overheard Ian asking her for the number to the phone. As it was still in Jay's pocket, he rushed out of the hospital and dumped the mobile in a random bin on The Square.

Janine had hatched up an extreme plan to burn down The Vic, but Archie brushed her off, thinking it too over the top. Janine was adamant that it will work, because they could fix it to look like arson, causing the insurance to be waived. Because of Sam's financial strain on the family, they wont have enough money to repair the building and undoubtedly go under. Archie was still skeptical, but when he came across a flyer for a bonfire night at The Vic, he realised they have an in. He headed over to Janine and told her the plan is a go and they can even use Billy as a scapegoat.
