David is concerned about his relationship with Leyla as she becomes increasingly distant. He speaks to Pollard about it, who suggests that he spice up their relationship with some romance. Leyla bravely goes to work, where Nathan continues to berate her. David then rushes over, insisting that she join him at the pub. He drops to one knee and proposes to Leyla, who runs off in tears, devastated at the fact that she would not be able to marry David.

Elsewhere, Charity's plan to win over Cain was set in motion as she suggested that she cook a meal for the family. Cain initially plays it cool, but when she later wears a sheer nightgown in order to seduce him, he becomes anxious and rushes off, making it clear that he won't be unable to maintain his facade for much longer. When Zak and Lisa joins the couple for dinner later in the evening, Cain and Charity share yet another sexually charged moment, leaving Cain totally confused as to her intentions.
