Spencer's a bit unsure as to his duties as big chief of The Loft and so Calvin tells him to go to the SU Bar so he can get acquainted with his target market. Things get a bit rowdy, though, with Spencer having a ball as Dave shows him how to play pool, and so Spencer suggests everyone head up to The Loft for a free party when the manager is clearly quite keen to get rid of them. Dave realises that Spencer's giving away much too much stock for free and so does a round to collect some money and is left a bit wary when Spencer says he wants to have a poker game like Warren used to have. As to be expected, Calvin eventually shows up and, not impressed, tries to throw everyone out. He also knocks Dave to the floor despite the fact that he's been taking care of Spencer and left the money he collected at the till.
Meanwhile, Archie finds himself with nowhere to live when India returns to halls. Desperate, he asks Kris for help and, after much coaxing, Kris agrees to speak to Zak and Elliot about Archie moving into the flat. They are not at all fond of this idea and it takes much reasoning from Kris to get them to agree. Archie, however, very soon realises that the fact that they agreed to let him move in doesn't in the least mean that they've forgiven him.
Elsewhere, Neville is outraged when his 15-year-old godson Duncan who he hasn't seen for a while tricks him into serving him alcohol with a fake ID. Suzanne is thrilled by Ducan's arrival, though, and he and Ricky soon become acquainted. And despite the fact that they don't initially get along, they later bond over a mutual admission of ineptitude.
