
Ryan is furious when Mark arrives to visit Faye, and he aggressively warns him to stay away from his mother. Mark and Faye argue over Ryan's decision to join the army, with Mark telling Faye, in no uncertain terms, that Ryan is not his problem. Mark heads to the hotel and is shocked when Natasha tells him that they will be living separate lives. It looks like the Wyldes are headed for divorce.
Meanwhile, after much reassurance from Jamie and a confession to Brenda about the date, Gennie finally makes up her mind to meet her internet suitor. Later, when they meet at the Woolpack, she is delighted at her catch but fails to notice her date's disappointment. When her internet date bluntly states that she is not as attractive as in her profile picture, Gennie laments her rotten luck with guys, and worries that she will always be alone.
Elsewhere, David finds himself in a tough spot when he has to choose between his loyalties to the village and his love for his dad.
