Helen Flanagan likes to pretend she is a diva.

The 'Coronation Street' actress - who plays teen vixen Rosie Webster in the soap - says she loves holding karaoke sessions to 'I Will Always Love You' singer Whitney Houston's hits when her boyfriend is out.

She said: "When I am in the house all on my own I get out 'Whitney Houston: The Greatest Hits' and sing along dead loud, like I'm this amazing diva.

"I love Whitney - I can't resist the power ballads."

In real life the 18-year-old star has to limit her diva-like behavior, however, in case her dad discovers her penchant for designer accessories.

She added: "I love Chanel. I can't really afford it, but everything is so beautiful and classy. I'm trying to build up a little collection and I recently bought a really lovely Chanel evening bag. I'd rather not say how much it cost because my dad would kill me if he found out."
