Miranda told Susan of Rachel's encounter with Angus, even though Rachel wanted to break the news herself. Susan was livid that Angus had broken his bail conditions and wanted to call the police, but Rachel swore to her the encounter was accidental. Susan backed down, but the argument reminded Rachel of all the trouble the affair caused. She wrote her statement, acknowledging she is partly to blame.

Elsewhere, Sam found Dan counting her pills as he suspected she hadn't been taking them. Angry that he doesn't trust her and that he didn't tell her about the incident with Libby at dance class, Sam told Dan that he should see her as a person and not just an illness.

Meanwhile, in a desperate attempt to discipline Declan, Rebecca banned him from playing football. He disregarded her and went to practice anyway. When coach Steve heard of his disobedience, he asked Rebecca's permission to try a different approach and push Declan to his limits.
