Nina Wadia finds it "creepy" kissing her 'EastEnders' co-star Nitin Ganatra.

The actress - who plays Zainab Masood in the soap - admits she can't take her kissing scenes with Nitin, who plays her on-screen husband Masood Ahmend, because the pair are such close friends in real life.

She said: "I couldn't ask for anyone better to work with. We have been friends for years, but that means sometimes I can get a bit shy working with him - kissing my mate is creepy! Thankfully, Nitin is a good guy and we have the same sense of humour."

Nina also revealed she has some ideas for future storylines involving her character.

She added: "I keep saying to them, 'When is Zainab going to have an affair?' Knowing my luck, Masood will have one instead and poor old Zainab will just have to look on.

"Personally, I'd like it if she had a nervous breakdown and became a nymphomaniac. Can you imagine it? I would really enjoy playing that one out!"
